Born and raised in California , I began my formal music career in the 4th grade concert band. I played percussion instruments in concert band until I graduated from high school. At the age of twelve, I began playing the trap kit (the drums) and shortly after formed my first rock band in my parent’s garage. I enjoy listening to music, seeing concerts, and most of all playing it live for people to enjoy. Over the years, I have been in many bands and like most, we focused mainly on covers. However, I have always enjoyed writing and recording music which I have been spending more time on in recent years. Somewhat of a gear head, I started learning about audio engineering in high school. I began experimenting with recording in the early nineties learning the fine art of making a record. Since that time I have worked with several artists recording music, and playing live shows. I have had many musical influences over the years and like several different styles of music. Some of my favorite music to listen to and play is reggae music. Artists like Lee Perry, Gregory Isaacs, and Peter Tosh are among some of my favorites. One of the main reasons I enjoy playing reggae music is the positive messages and danceable groove that drive the music. I am also a huge fan of classic rock, funk, blues, heavy metal and classical music. Joining "SOUNDCURRENT"was a natural fit for me, as the music is positive, danceable, and most of all a lot of fun to play. See you at the gigs!
