Eliza Dorothea Cole was born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Music has been a prevalent passion in Eliza’s life since
she began exploring the piano at the age of six. Fourth grade
elementary school band expanded Eliza from just piano lessons
to learning to play alto saxophone. Several years of concert and
jazz band only encouraged Ms. Cole to seek out more instruments
to master. In her teen years she picked up acoustic and electric
guitar and began recording original music and playing small venues
on the east coast. Eliza recorded briefly at On The Fringe Studios
in West Newbury, MA and also partook in a few blunted recording
projects with Captain Dusty of “Something Dank.” In
January of 2007 Eliza made the drive across the country to move
to the Santa Cruz Mountains. She came across members of “The
Soundcurrent” about seven months later and was invited to
take a stab at a jam session with the guys. Things went well enough
and the males decided to utilize Eliza’s multi-instrumental
interests and spit fire hyper senses thus intergrading her into
the band. Henceforth Eliza melded into "SOUNDCURRENT"
playing Keys, Sax, Guitar and Vocals.
